Description: Single roll crusher made by the Jeffrey Manufacturing Company of Columbus, Ohio and used by the Sterling Coal Mining Company, Salineville, Ohio, 1921. This medium-sized 24" crusher broke coal to smaller sizes for use at boiler plants, gas producer plants and pulverized coal plants. It could crush 50 tons of coal per hour.
