Description: Coal car unloading machine made by the Jeffrey Manufacturing Company of Columbus, Ohio and owned by the Medal Paving Brick Company, Wooster, Ohio, 1921. The portable car unloader was designed to unload coal from hopper bottom railroad cars directly to motor trucks or to storage piles. The unloader could move at least 30 tons of coal per hour.
