Chamberlin and Earhart Airplanes
Description: Autographed photograph of an airplane flown by aviation pioneer Clarence Chamberlin. Major Raymond Newson, United States Air Force, obtained the autograph in the 1930s. Chamberlin was born in Ohio in 1893. He was a Signal Corps pilot, a barnstormer and a pilot for the Wright Corp. In 1927 Chamberlin became the second American pilot, after Charles Lindbergh, to cross the Atlantic Ocean. View on Ohio Memory.
