Description: This is a photograph of one of the buildings on the campus of Wittenberg College in Springfield, Ohio. Wittenberg College was the result of a group of pastors who had broken from the German church to create an English speaking Evangelical Lutheran Synod of Ohio. The first sessions of the college were held in Wooster, Ohio but when Ezra Keller, the founder and first president, saw the highest point of south central Ohio, he knew the college would be built in Springfield.
