Description: The Civilian Conservation Corps was created in March of 1933 by President Roosevelt. This was part of the 'New Deal', which was intended to reverse the ecomonic depression. Unemplyed men between the ages of eighteen and twenty five were put to work on various government projects, such as road construction, reforestation, and flood control. View on Ohio Memory.
