Delaware County is home to the state's largest verified crystalline erratic, which was a popular tourist attraction in the 1930's. The large granite boulder is 22 feet long, 18 feet wide, and 8 feet high, with a circumference of 72 feet. The portion that is visible above ground weighs around 200 tons, while the area below ground is undetermined. The boulder is located one mile east of Sunbury, along Croton Road. View on Ohio Memory.
