Description: The Detroit-Superior High Level Bridge is also known as the Veterans Memorial Bridge is a compression arch suspended deck bridge and spans the Cuyahoga River. It was completed in 1918 and was then the largest steel and concrete reinforced bridge in the world. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.
