A portion of 8th Street, from Vine Street to Elm Street, has been renamed Garfield Place, in honor of the 20th President of the United States. The Garfield Statue was built by sculptor, Charles H. Niehaus and is located in Piatt Park, which was known as Garfield Park for a short time. View on Ohio Memory.
