Soap production from Procter & Gamble Co., Cincinnati.   Save
Ohio Guide Photographs
Description: Original description reads: "Soap is either "milled" or "kettle" processed, the two principal methods of basic production in the industry. The milled soaps are usually of the finer quality and can be distinguished both by their unusual firmness and extra smooth texture. In this view the soap mixture from the mixing machine is chilled on a huge roller which also cuts it into strips ready for "milling" and cutting into bars. This foto loaned by Procter & Gamble Co., Cincinnati." View on Ohio Memory.
